Lawry’s (30 Minute) Marinade Teriyaki with Pineapple Juice (24 oz.)

This favorite marinade adds traditional Oriental flavor with a touch of the South Pacific. It’s excellent on chicken, beef and fish. Also mix into ground meat for great teriyaki burgers or splash some into your next stir-fry! 

For a great appetizer pour Lawry’s® Marinade over chicken wings or drummettes. Bake at 450° F until thoroughly cooked, basting often. Frozen precooked meatballs are delicious heated in Teriyaki Marinade.  

INGREDIENTS: Contains: Pineapple juice, high fructose corn syrup, water, salt, soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt), sherry wine, sugar , red wine vinegar, caramel color, modified food starch, spice, garlic powder, citric acid, xanthan gum (for consistency) and sodium benzoate (used to protect quality).

Recipe:  Teriyaki Beef & Pineapple Kabobs 

Prep Time:  15 minutes             Cook Time:  8 to 12 minutes 

  • ¾ cup Lawry’s® Teriyaki Marinade

  • 1 can (16 oz.) pineapple chunks, reserving liquid

  • 1-1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-1/2 inch cubes

  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into chunks

  • 2 medium onions, cut into chunks

  • 6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 15 minutes

  • In large Ziploc® bag, combine Teriyaki Marinade and 1 tablespoon pineapple juice. Reserve ¼ cup.

  • Add steak to Ziploc® bag and marinate in refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes, turning several times. Remove beef from Ziploc® bag, discarding used marinade.

  • Skewer steak with vegetables and pineapple chunks. Grill kabobs about 4 inches from heat source. Cook to desired doneness, turning and brushing with reserved marinade mixture. Makes 6 servings.
