A fine ground pepper designed for cooking purposes. Tone's Ground Black Pepper is a 30 mesh pepper with fines. The higher the mesh, the finer the pepper grind. The taste of black pepper should be pungent and felt at the back of the throat and tongue. There should be a slight, but not overwhelming, burn to this taste. The aroma of black pepper is described as warm and musty.

Serving Suggestions
An excellent cooking pepper. Tone's Ground Black Pepper has more fines present (compared to Restaurant Grind). Tone's Ground Black Pepper is not designed for pepper shakers, as it has a tendency to coat the inside of the shakers. Mix with flour for a chicken or fish batter. Add to dark sauces, gravies, soups, stews, pasta & green salads. Use in any recipe calling for ground black pepper. Use a dash or two per serving. The best use of this product is for cooking
